The Bruins suffered a tough 3-2 overtime loss to the Carolina Hurricanes Thursday night after previously ripping off four wins in five games.
Despite coming up short, there was one standout highlight for the B’s. It came with 14 minutes left in the third period when David Pastrnak stopped on a dime and sniped a shot past Cam Ward to tie the game up at 2-2.
Pasta actually managed to explode Ward’s water bottle, which you can see in the slow motion replay:
The Bruins will look to bounce back on Saturday as they take on the Islanders at the Garden.
