There’s been talk recently that it may be time for Brad Stevens to free Jordan Mickey, and his performance against the Grizzlies in garbage time Wednesday night was a perfect reason why.
JMick came onto the floor with 1:51 remaining in the blowout win and immediately made his presence felt. In a matter of only five seconds, he was able to block three times as many shots as anyone else on the Celtics’ roster could throughout the course of the game:
Little glimpses like this make you wonder what kind of damage he could do if he were playing legit minutes. I’m hoping we get to find out soon.
